Gift wrap...

One of the few things that I've hardly ever complained about or admitted is wrapping gifts. It may or may not be noticed by the person who opens it. I remember one instance quite fondly though, coz probably that was the only time when the gift was opened before me. And there was a huge smile, even before the gift came out. What the gift was, is worth a few lines maybe sometime later.

Today was one such day, but a little different in the sense that I was getting it done and watching. Strange how it has moved out of my hands into someone else's and has become his/her job rather than mine. It felt as if I was no longer gifting it. But I'm glad atleast I would be able to write something with my hands and then maybe it will still be me gifting somebody :)

this is why I dnt understand howor rather why people send online gifts and flowers etc? the ones u havent even touched with ur hands! what do they really mean to the one at receiving end? (unless it is really costly! ;) )
irrespective of what u are gifting, what matters more is involvement of the one who gives!
(I think i have already written all this on my blog!)
Happy b'day in advance!
:)
